I’m currently rebuilding my ’53 power glide 235. In the process we found the original head had 9 different cracks, so I purchased a ’60 head which now has been fitted with new valves, guides and hardened seats. I’m wondering if this later head will raise my compression ratio from the ’53 spec. of 7.5 to 1 to the ‘60 spec. of 8.25 to 1
