Bill, Thanks for that info. I'm learning as I go and have learned to double check the things I'm told. I wasn't going to argue with the guy since I know less than just about everybody. 3.73 was crayoned on the thing and that's my main concern. I did the measurements of the width and the spring mounts myself which is good. The salvage yard fellow who told me it was a Dana made himself sound like an expert. On the other hand, he did smell of alcohol and it was 10AM.
