Anybody ever use graphite paint? I've seen it for sale at several different farm and ranch supply type stores. I know a couple of Model T guys (please don't shoot me for bringing Model T stuff to the Stovebolt site) who have had good results using it on the springs. Goes on like paint, dries like paint, and lasts a long time. Here are a couple of examples:
