I used a material called "Black Ice" made by a company called TRAC Lubricants. It is an extreme pressure moly-disulfide air-dry solid film paint. I put it on all the springs on my 53 Dodge 1 ton Power Wagon. I also used it several years ago on all my Corvette springs. Works nice and took all the binding and popping out of the springs.
