Wouldn't that be about the same as an impact gun if not more? Seems to me that I'd be more likely to snap a stud with a 3foot cheater than with an impact gun. Actually I squirted Marvel all over my threads recently to help with removal, and impacted them on and off. I haven't had any problems, but I use my truck for recreation, not work. I can understand following the rules a little closer if you are hauling regularly.
