Thanks Terry. The truck shows 52000 miles and the speedo cable was connected and the odometer seems to be working now. I have no way to know for sure but I suspect the mileage is accurate. Motor has good oil pressure; about 30 at start-up, drops to 15 after warm up while driving about 30 mph. Drops to 7-8 at warm idle. No knocks or other noxious engine noises, just some tappet clicking. All appropriate for a 216, I think. I guess I've only put about 35 miles on it total tho it has run at idle for a few more hours than that.
