They will "over-center" if pushed too far in.All you need to do is make sure your adjustment is right,and build some sort of bumper to stop your pedal before it goes far down enough to over-center the clutch. BTW-diaphragm clutches have light pedal pressure by design,and when used with a hydraulic clutch pedal,even lighter.As long as it releases when you push down and doesn't slip when you let up,no worries.
