Here's a couple of pictures of mine. I also have a BW Super T10. The first pic is what it looked like with the standard Competition Plus 4 speed shifter. I actually had 3 bucket seats at the time, which were somewhat shorter front to back than the stock bench seat. In 4th gear the handle almost touched the seat. In order to fit this shifter in front of the stock bench seat I think you're going to need to use the Hurst 55 Chevy bench seat shifter with the C shaped handle. The shifter is below the floor and the handle will easily clear the seat, unless your engine is much further forward than mine. I'm pretty sure any of the bolt on handles with interfere with the seat.
The second pic is how it looks now, after I switched from the Competition Plus to the Street Supershifter mounting. It's the same exact shifter, but mounted further back and higher up so the shift rods run straight back and forth. My son machined the custom handle to fit my hand better than the Hurst offerings. The shifter itself is actually in the truck, the top of the boot is resting on the shifter head. A bench seat won't fit. The shifter is too far back and too high to clear a seat. The last 2 pics show the different shifter positions and shape of the rods.
The difference between the two shifters is dramatic. The Supershifter is like a "power" shifter, extremely easy to use and shorter throws. I prefer the bench seat, and thought about going back to a 55 Chevy shifter and the lower mount just to be able to use the bench seat, but I have chronic back problems so for me the bucket seats are a must.
