3B, Ya your right, the 2687 is a timken number, the rest came Federal Mogul (BCA) bearings.
They are tapered roller bearings, rollers shaped like a coke can not barrel shaped, plus the inner bearing has no collar for the seal to run on.
The ID of the bearing and OD of the race would not allow it to be installed.
When I first seen them I was thinking they would replace the barrel type, but after checking the ID and OD I could see they would not work.
I was hoping that over the years someones truck had ended up with some bearings in it other than Hyatt which would give another number to search with.
