The subject here is a 52 chevy 2ton, front wheel bearings.
I would like to find a good number for the front bearings, because the Hyatt number no one seems to be able to cross over.
These are tapered barrel bearings, meaning the rollers are shaped like a beer barrel.
The Hyatt numbers are
A-11038 - outer brg.
? - outer race
A-11424 - inner brg.
11424-Z - inner race
From a former listing here someone had said that Bower numbers 3383,3320,2687,2631 were good as a current number for those bearings which they are NOT.
Does anyone have a bearing number other than Hyatt that will cross to provide a good number so I can get some bearings for a chevy 2ton.
I also believe that once a good number is found I can get these bearings cheaper than the 100 bucks Carter wants for one bearing.
