I checked another source, an actual GM book and it referenced the same numbers you say are incorrect, so two books have the wrong information. I gave you two other numbers for the inner bearings, 17888 is a cone, the I.D. is 1.75", the cup is 17830, it has an O.D. of 3.125", Napa p/ns for these are BRGBR17888 $67.99, and BRGBR17830 $19.69, have you checked these numbers out?
