| | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 | On my original tank in the COE, the fittings were soldered. I broke one loose and ended up bringing it to a friend of mine who cleaned it right up and resoldered it perfectly. Hasnt leaked since.
Ive had JB weld soften and leak when exposed to gasoline for a marked amount of time. That doesnt mean it wont work, just that it may be a short term fix. | | |
