I went out and tried to disconnect the torque tube at the u-joint, but ran into a problem. I was able to get one of the u-bolts off, but the other one didn't want to budge. I wasn't about to start beating on it with a hammer for fear of breaking it. Is there any way to loosen it up without doing damage to the tube?
Also, once I finally get the two u-bolts off, to separate the two parts do I just pull up on the tube or do I have to pull them staring apart?
