Thanks for the clarification. The problem I am having with my 50 216 is that even though it has great compression it still smokes some and uses too much oil. I think the oil control rings are frozen/rusted to the pistons and not functioning properly. I have had the oil pan off and what I can see of the cylinder walls look really good. I would think that could be a common problem with a motor that sat un-run for a long time. What's been your experience? Thanks.
