Thought Id share some pictures of the power steering bracket I designed and just welded together today. This bracket will mount a dodge (or GM) pump in the location of the generator/alternator, using the two bolts on the block. The alternator will be moved to the passenger side of the block via another bracket I designed. Currently waiting for those pieces to be laser cut and shipped. Will have them in a week or two.

It ran me $45 to have the bracket laser cut and shipped.

This is the 3d rendering I did before I sent it out to be cut out of 1/4 mild steel

tell me what you think

oh and to adjust the tension on the belt and as a upper mount Im using some 3/8" threaded rod (left and right threaded) and a 3/8 coupling. That way I can adjust the tension on the belt by just turning the coupling either direction.
