Thanks for the info, Stuart. I understand how the brake switch is supposed to be wired on the truck. I guess I'm asking for help specifically from those who have used the EZ kit. I'd like to hear how others did it because there is only "tail light" wire going from the back end to the fuse panel. According to the truck wiring diagram, this wire should be interrupted by the brake switch on the firewall.
My kit is definitely for the alternator. The directions show a voltage regulator and one of the earlier posts had a link showing the same thing. Again, for those who have used this kit, how did you handle the alternator wiring? Did you have to add a voltage regulator?
