I have a '50 Chevy 3100 with a '60 235 car engine that has all been rebuilt. I have added an electronic distributor. And I am now installing the EZ Wiring 15-circuit harness.

It's been difficult to follow the circuits on the harness with no full wiring harness. The directions leave something to be desired. Afterall, the whole truck can be wired in 5 steps? So I have a couple questions.

Question #1: brake light switch and high beam switch; the wiring doesn't seem to be there for those two switches on the firewall. There is extra length on those circuits. Should I cut the wire from the tail lights at the stop switch and connect both sides to the switch? Should I follow the circuiting of the original truck or assume that it's all in the wiring harness and just continue forward blindly hoping it'll work? ;-)

Question #2: alternator wiring. The instructions for the kit show a voltage regulator on the system. Is this already wired in? Do I need it?
