Sounds like fuel starvation. A plugged filter or line or a weak fuel pump may be the cause. Start with the cheapest, the fuel filter then go from there. I usually put a clear filter on any vehicle that hasn't been driven much just to see what gets sucked from the tank and into the fuel system. Today's fuel will slowly clean your tank and send the crud down your fuel lines.
