38spshl, its definitly a small block but it is sitting in a 1965 C-60 Line Truck. i will climb up into the engine bay tomorrow and see if i can see the casting number. i'm wanting it to rebuild it before the boss sends it to the graveyard. i'll get the numbers on here tomorrow. thanks ya'll.
