Grigg, how would I go about getting rid of the inline filter then? I could just run a hose between the two metal lines to connect them but I don't think that would be original, either?
Cezechman, Yes I am in the tank cleaning process and I was going to order a new sending unit(I REALLY NEEDED a new one, old one was plugged with 1/2 inch of icky grime) with one of those filters over the end, and then figure out something about the filters that you can take apart and clean, but it seems that the fuel pumps are the only ones with that feature?
