Classic parts sells the SAME FILTER for a couple dollars less and their replacement element is less expensive also.

Since you seem to be in the process of cleaning up your fuel tank you could probably go for a couple years on a $5 element. The paper ones filter out finer particles too.

Actually a simple plastic in-line filter would work just as well for a lot less money.
