The common full size filter for Ford and Mopar does have bypass,I believe it opens at about 12 psi of restriction.
During high engine speeds when the pump is at full capacity,the bypass usually opens insuring the engine bearings get full oiling.
But you have two filters,perhaps the bypass isn't needed.On the other hand,spending another 50 bucks for a dual filter head for use with bypass filters may be cheap insurance.
