I am working on converting an old reo six to full flow oiling. The spin-on filter bracket holds two filters. However, I ordered the gm style adapter not knowing that no gm filters have the bypass valve built into the filter. If I use two, two quart gm filters (each rated 9 gpm hot) will it have enough flowability at cold temperatures that I won't need a bypass valve?
