WOW ..I was so flustered that I didn't even notice the original post date on the question.
This just reinforces my point though. This poor ambassadorship has been going on for years, and no one cares!
The first greeting you get when you access this forum is some guy telling you "WE" are all bored with the same old questions, so you better do a real good search or suffer his wrath!
Dave certainly isn't speaking for me...I'm not bored with any question. No question is dumb, and every question needs to be answered in a kind respectful manner...especially by someone who supposedly represents this site.
When you come to the Stovebolt for the first time, you are unfamiliar with the site and probably nervous. To be immediately blown out of the water by the shop foreman of the forum is very poor form.
So the fact that this happened on 01/26/05 and is still happening is sort of disturbing.
