Jerry, yes it should work. You may be a little lean since the computer is mapped for a 305 and now you have upped the displacement, but you might be able to overcome that with tricks such as fuel pressure regulator adjustment, or maybe a reprogrammed computer chip. You might check the DIY fuel injection site (do a Google for it).
