But a gentle nudge to the site mission statement of pre 73 GM trucks would not amiss. I doubt that Jerry 243 would have still been with us regardless of Dave's statement, as he didn't have a pre 73 truck, and will probably never have one. It was unfortunate that V8 was denigated, as this is not an inline six site, even though the name would indicate so.
