I saw a nice set up in a classic truck builder magazine that showed someone who had built a small consel just in front of a lokar shifter and had upholstered it to match the interior. 6 gauge set up, clock included. The 2 larger gauges were in the stock holes of his 49 dash. He installed what looked like 3 3/8" 4 smaller gauges in the consel facing the shifter. Nice balanced factory look.
