When I was 16 (1962) I bought my first tools from Montgomery Ward... Powercraft brand. It was my intention to build my own Hot Rod with those tools. Over the years I've repaired my own vehicles and used them in my various mechanic-related jobs but my dream of owning my own Hot Rod wasn't fulfilled for 46 years.
Yup, those Monkey Ward tools which I carried thousands of miles across the country are finally fulfilling their intended purpose when I bought them so many years ago... we're finally building that Hot Rod, and they just seem so perfect for the job.
I guess that's about as sentimental as I can get over some cold inanimate objects.
