About the ratchet wrenches, I had a set of gear-wrench ratcheting wrenches, but they marked the fasteners to much. I was working in a nice antique car restoration shop and that was not acceptable.
Traded in the gear-wrench set to the Snap-On dealer for more than I paid for it at Lows, gave him a little more money and left with a Snap-On ratcheting wrench set, no more marked fasteners as they seem to fit better.
I really like them, and have had no problems with the Snap-On set. They are not a replacement for a good set of combination wrenches though, as the fatter head won't fit some places.
