The newer Craftsman ratchets are what drove me over the edge -- after breaking two (one after the other), I took the plunge and started switching over to Snap-On. Haven't looked back since. WHAT a difference! I've used the 3/4 drive as a hammer on occasion. Like Grigg, though, I like the industrial finish. Same quality and feel, more reasonable price.

I broke a Snap-On breaker bar using a cheater when we were in Hawaii. My local Snap-On dealer here in Maryland didn't even hesitate or ask me any questions -- in one fluid motion he took mine and placed a new one in my other hand.

Some day, I spring for a nice roller chest -- in the meantime I'll make do with my Craftsman chests. They're probably a good theft deterrent... smile
