These engines have been discussed before as possible donors for AD and other old GM trucks. As far back as 99 or 2000 (?) when the new Trailblazers first starting hitting the roads. But almost always the computer-thing was a discouragement. What's the history? Has one successfully been transplanted into a 55-1 or 50 or any other pre-computer Chevy? What do good, savage engines go for around the country? Does the shop guy have a ball-park number as to cost for the retrofit???
