I think .006 might be too tight.
I would go with .008 I .014E. The valves on a 235 will tend to get tighter when using unleaded gasoline as the valve seats wear, so keep them a bit on the loose side.
Also make sure the oil is up to a stable temperature before you adjust, that means at least 15 minutes of road driving.
I just adjusted the valves on my BMW, they are 0.012 intake and exhaust, but it's an overhead cam. They are a pita, since they use cam style adjusters instead of screws, and you have to use the starter to rotate the engine.
