Sure you got solid lifters? The adjustments for solids changed over the years. I'll have to look in my book for the '59 adjustment with solids. You can set timing when ball and pointer line up, but thats at 0* TDC. I always bumped it up to about 5 or 10* and saw how it ran like that.
