#33547 03/30/2002 6:19 AM | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 12 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 12 | I am not sure but i think that the bellhousing on the TH-350 would hit the tranny tunnel before you could lift it up enough to remove the pan. The pan comes off like a stovebolt. You dont have to remove the timing cover. Removing a main and rod cap won't hurt anything as long as you keep it clean and put them back on the same way they came off. Make sure that they are torqued to spec.
