I'm working on a '79 *amaro for a friend. Its got a '68 327 and a set of "434" casting iron heads with 60 CC chambers. Assuming a .030" bore, flattop pistons w/ 4 valve reliefs, and a .045 head gasket, what would the comp ratio be?

We have no idea what shape this motor is in. It runs, but no idea of cranking or oil pressure. How hard is it to pull the oil pan on a 327 and have a look around?

Where are the numbers on a TH350 so I can ID/date the tranny?
