It sounds like the clutch plate you used , worked a lot better than the one I used,Mongo. I wished I had used that one. I used the "11" inch S-10 van clutch disk, it works fine, but I already know when its time to replace it , I'll have problems all over again. It was not an easy clutch to get when I got it. I had forgoten to mention the through out bearing sleeve had to be shortened in my other post. I did as Mongo did putting trannys side by side and making them look the same, then I stabed it without clutch or presure plate to make sure all was well. Good luck
