Just a question re: the T5 tranny: Will it bolt to a 216? That's what is in my 49 GMC 3/4 (Canadaian built). Also, how easy will it be to change the drive shaft? I have a torque tube for about 18 inches, a bearing, then an open drive line. I am guessing that the shaft is long enough to need the extra bearing. Will I have to change the bearing, or is there a way to just change the forward shaft?
