I just got for free a mid-60's IHC Scout that has had a 250 inline six installed with a granny 4 speed and "rockwell" transfer case. I have no idea as the the year of the combo, nor do I have any idea to tell which trans and transfer case is actually in it. The 250 has the separate intake and exh manifolds, and a one barrel carb, and the tranny looks very similar to my SM420 in my 48 Chevy, but I can't be sure without swimming in the mud and crawling under it. Any tips as to how to ID this bugger would be appreciative. It does start and run, but all the hydraulics are dried ouot and need replaced, so need to get hte brakes and clutch fixed so I can test drive it. Thanks again, Garry
