Hey all, I am looking to put an original sattle tank on the drivers side of my 73 truck. Right now theres a square tank that was made or somthing that I want to get rid of. Anyway, I have a sattle tank but its for the passanger side, and the truck already has that one. So, I looked at the tank, and it seems that the brackets can be switched to the other side of the tank and mounted up properly. All I have to do is turn the gas tank filler hose 180 degrees, and mount it up.... Does anyone have experience with this?? Will this work, I think it will.
Also, how do I remove the gas gauge unit thats on top of the tank?? I cant find any screws, does the whole thing just screw out some how?? Thanks,
