Good Morning Chipmunk,
I am sure panel and suburban tanks are the same for the the '46, but will a tank from a '46 fit into a newer vehicle. I made new straps for mine and riveted them back on the mounts. If when I get home and check on my other tank and you can use it. No problem, don't think I can use but one tank.
