If possible get it running and then decide. If you take it to the chassis you need a lot of patience and a couple friends (Stovebolters) to help a long the way. It will take time to go to the chassis and start unless you have deep pockets. Part of the joy is meeting folks, learning about your type vehicle, sharing, swapping and the hunt for parts is usually as interesting as the job itself. So, get it running and perhaps work on it one thing at a time as long as its something you will not have to "mess up" to get to something else later. Good luck.
