Sorry to hear about your truck. I also hope they catch the a-hole that hit it.
I was hit by a drunk driver at 7:30 a.m. on the way to work one morning. He took out 4 other cars in the same block, after he hit me.
They ended up catching him a few blocks away, and told me that I'd have to file a report with my insurance...
Bout 4 years later, after I'd already filed the claim, and sold the vehicle, I received a money order in the mail. He had to pay my deductible as part of his restitution.
Still didn't come close to what I had out of pocket, and in frustration.
