Sorry to hear about your truck. Here in my state unless someone was injured in a hit & run you are basicly out of luck. I deal with this sort of thing all the time, and unless there was a witness there isn't much help. Maybe check with some of the local body shops, if you have any idea what kind of vehicle it was, to see if they have written an estimate for the jerk who hit you. Also check parking lots in the area to see if you can find a damaged vehicle with your paint on it. If you find the vehicle I strongly advise you to call the police and don't confront the person yourself. I have seen bad things happen because of this. I would like to see the guy get the snott beat out of him too, but if he is irresponsible enough to hit & run he may be irresponsible enough to take a shot at someone too.
