I Just got done removing a bunch of them to make way for a IFS kit and used a air chisel Its like Tiny said WEAR EAR PLUGS but it cuts thru them like butter. I had several of them out in minutes Good Luck
Some people are like Slinkies, Their not really good for nothing... But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
