That battery on concrete is absolutely false. Otherwise your battery would dischage sitting on a metal battery tray. A fully charged battery will not freeze until it gets way below zero (-25). Whennfully charged the battery will losr very little charge when cold because the chemical reaction in the battery slows down. Warming the battery up (putting a trickle charger on it or bringing it indoors) will improve it's efficiency and provide greater starting power.
