I have used peel and seal with no problems. no smell after installing it. covered firewall, entire floor and some strips on back of cab. after this is glued down water heater insulation which was basically bubble wrap with foil on both sides and used foil tape to seal all the seams. all supplies were purchased for $80 from Lowes (no peal n seal at home depot) including the expensive 3m spray adhesive. im in Dallas and have noticed no smell during the summer. this stuff is a cheap option and really makes a difference. but is a real pain to install... i would suggest trying to buy the sound deaden and heat block kits from LMC. p[rice is comparable and the kit is cut to fit. it hink the product was "EVA sound deadener"
