I bought Sherwin WIlliams industrial paint. It is at least as good as the original stuff, 3 coats and you will have a respectable gloss, if you bodywork is decent, it will look nice. You just have to keep it waxed. A paint gun only costs 50 bucks, i have a 300 binks gun, but my grandads 40 year old devilbliss works just as good.
The worst that can happen is you have to let it dry and sand it down a bit, you get A LOT of satisfaction when you look at a decent paint job you did.
