So, I know these trucks aren't meant to be speed-demons out of the box. But I am concerned about my potential truck not being able to keep up with highway traffic. I've heard of trucks that won't go over 45... but my Dad tells me I should have no problem cruising at 70+.
So, for a stock 216 with a 3-speed, what kind of top-gear speeds can I reasonable expect, given an engine in good tune and a good tranny?
