I remember travelling about 600 miles in my old '53 half ton,no speedometer,but with its '57 235 I cruised it at 3200 rpm all the way. Flagged a patrol officer on the way home on the interstate and checked my road speed against his speedo,and he was showing 71 mph. The guys are right,tall tires make a big difference. I was running 7.50X16's at that time. Truck seemed pretty happy at that speed.
