atomarc- its a 1-2 shift that gives me problems. its the shift linkage that i can't seem to get right; everyonce and awhile, aat a stop light, i either couldn't get it into 1st, or i couldn't get from 1st to 2nd. very frusterating. and while at oreily's, the guy showed me a Mr. Gasket 3-speed floor shifter conversion kit. it was $45, and it looked very god, but he said people still have problems with the 1/2 shift. so i didn't think abt it anymore.
also, does anyone know what type of newer rear end will fit in my truck?
